I've been looking into the harness situation lately. The SCCA is allowing 2 inch FIA but NOT SFI shoulder belts only when used with the HANS device. For a lap belt the argument seems to be that a 2

Are you referring to a sternum strap? I didn't know harnesses had them. It would be a nice addition with a Hans device since the belts tend to ride off the edges. I also like the idea of 2" shoulder
