- Mordy, I agree about not being able to compress the copper..006 is a lot to compress. I made a set of aluminum bars I cinch down on top of the liners to simulate the head being in place so I measure

- To shorten a sleeve and you do not have a lathe to do the job square, try lapping on a sheet of 180 grit wet and dry paper on a sheet of glass. Use water on the paper as a lapping liquid. Old car win
