Isolator mounts are a good idea, especially if mounted on the "radiator protection shield" on a TR6. This piece also mounts the sway bar which can cause some twisting that will crack the cooler. Been

Do not use the old cooler, get a new one. If you loose a bearing, toss the cooler and get another new one. I use Mocal and have had no problems. Jim I got a lot of good ideas from the radiator quest

Amen to that. Been there, learned the lesson. Worst part was there was a new cooler sitting on the shelf. I use the mocals on pretty much everything and put BSP to AN adaptors on them. They are cheap

The shift rail o rings probably need to be replaced. You will have to remove the gearbox top and remove the grub screws which retain the shift forks. Be careful as those screws are prone to breaking
