Well ... some do, some don't. http://www.lnengineering.com/oil.html has a nice table of what oils contain what levels of ZDDP, and indicate the base stock, too. _____________________________________

All oils, synthetic or otherwise, have Zn & P in them. Always have. Different brands have different additive packages, and thus provide different results. Nothing has been made illegal. The EPA spec
