3/8ths sounds a bit low when you consider that the normal starting point for adjusting the jets is one turn down. If you had to run the jets down 3/8" to get the mixture right I am surprised that the

That is way to low. If everything is correct they should be approximatly 1/16 down from flush. Even with the choke pulled you will not get 3 / 8. Are you sure you are measuring it correctly. If so yo
