- You both make good points. It may be mostly a visual thing since there is arc in the bonnet. I will install and close it carefully with a glob of clay on top of the carb to measure the clearance. It'

- Just take a look at the radiator height on a BN6. You would swear that when you lower the bonnet you would put a major crimp on it. But -- o ye of little faith. It closes spot on. John Sims, BN6 Aber
