don4t do it or buy aftermarket fenders and put the originals aside and keep them in good shape. Its always a shame to cut holes in good original fenders. Josef Eckert Konigswinter/GERMANY 54BN1, 62B

I would use steel on steel. Not sure what is meant by flange or no flange and it has been several years since mine were installed. The vents I used were very deep and I needed to cut them or the ped
