The solenoid on a GRS should have a full 12V to energize the starter motor, preferably 12.8V (more than a stock Healey starter requires). I experienced continuing hot start problems with my GRS until

Thank you all for your help. I took the new battery out of my project Healey, put it in and it started right away. I waited until the next morning, tried it again and got the same result. Hopefully,
