Fellows, here is a real puzzle. Tried starting my BJ8 a couple of weeks ago and after cranking several times, the starter quit working. The solenoid would click but the starter would not turn over. R

Check, clean and refit the battery connections, use a bit of petroleum jelly to avoid future corrosion. Also check the earthing strap and its connections, again clean and apply petroleum jelly or jus
