If you use a plastic bodied pump with 2 leads, the electrics / electronics will be isolated. You can then connect for whatever the car's polarity is without problems. In addition, if you ever decide

I looked at the instructions for my plastic body Facet pump, the instructions say negative ground only, I would think reversing the wires would work, but it does have metal inlets and outlets for the
