Hi all, What could be the problem when the pump body of the OD on a bj8 will not come out of the unit after the non return valve assembly has been removed? The pump shaft goes up and down when manual

I think I'll pull the solenoid bracket and look to see whether the pump shaft is moving up and down. That should tell me right away if the cam is on backwards. Then I'll reseat the ball in the non-r
