There were two types of LSDs available in Miatas, viscous and Torsen. Early models had optional viscous LSDs. In 94, the Torsen LSD was an option. I think it is a Type I, with helical gearing. I guess you can say "Viscous" or "Torsen" and the implied meaning is LSD.
