I'm having issues with my Weber 45DCOE on a 1275 (street car). The carb is mated to a 3.75" Minispares manifold, 36mm chokes. The below is a little convoluted, as things that should have mattered did

Quick answer would lead me to believe that you are not on the idle circuit at all. Changing main jet would NOT make any difference in idle IF you are using the idle circuit. Old school way of adjusti

As my neighbor always said when my outboard motor never ran well. "Dirt in the high speed jets", that was his answer to any mechanical problem. But since yours is an idle issue, you must have dirt i

Lester, Thanks. I had the same guess earlier today - the circuit is clean. I have the same exact idle circuit on my race car's weber, and I swapped it without effect. I agree I'm not on the idle circ

Jets clean, but fuel line melting is a new one! You guys may on to something though if there's something upstream of the idle circuit. This is a brand new Weber. I think I mentioned earlier that the

You cant swap the circuit can you? You can swap the jets / emulsion tubes but the circuit is the machining in the body of the carb plus the jets etc. unless DCOE's are that different.. Lester _______

As you say, just jets and tubes. I did find something maybe relevant when putting things back where they were. The emulsion tubes on the racecar are f2, new setup is f16 (leaner, I think). I didn't r

Hi Ron, You need to start from the beginning. All main jet sizes are fairly meaningless without the aux venturi size. Also you do have the aux venturi in the right way round and right way up don't yo

That was what I was saying in the initial post. The emulsion tube is an f16. This is the standard Sprite K011 DCOE kit carb. This is a brand new carb. Aux vents are 4.5mm. They are installed the corr

I realised when I read this that the aux vents are for the main jet SO. The problem remains in the idle circuit which means idle jets and Em tube and drillings. Just forward of the idle mixture adjus
