the problem may have been what brake fluid you used DOT 4 vs DOT 3. If you put the wrong fluid in it eats the seals. I bought a new master and slave from victoria british for about $100. As for blee

DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids are compatible with each other and may be interchanged or mixed with no ill effects except the boiling points are different. A mixture which includes DOT 3 must be treate

If the problem with your slave is a bad seal, go to a local un-chained parts store (if you have any) and request a 7/8" brake cup. Should run about 35 cents. That's all there is inside, IF the seal
