When I was in the Navy we used to repair eroded high pressure sea valves (submarine type) repaired by using a product called Belzona. It was applied, machined off and the valves were as good as new.

I couldn't find one. If you are talking about a Shorrocks, then one thing I have noted is people claiming that under high-speed the vanes and the case come into contact, and the interior of the case
