It is likely one or both of your carbs floats stuck open during storage. This allowed fuel to gravity-drain up through your carb needle(s) into the intake manifold. From there, the fuel ran past open

My guess is that you have a float valve that is leaking just a bit. With the tank full, the level in the tank is above the carb throats, so gravity overfilled the float bowls. The fuel then runs dow
