Dunno about TR4, but I think the original straps on a TR3 were cotton. But cotton doesn't hold up very well, so virtually all of them have been replaced at one time or another. Randall _____________

Have the front shocks out of my TR4A and can say that they are also easy to However, if I use fast short compress strokes there is quite a bit resistants. My shocks are made by Boege and fairly new.
