Hi Steve, The 348 first came out in October 1957 for use in the '58 model cars and trucks. The 409 came out in late 1961. These two are hard to tell apart. I believe the oil dip stick location gives

I just pulled a 348 out of a parts truck. It needs a home. It is complete with transmission and clutch except it is missing the fuel pump and carb. I'm sure it hasn't run in a long long time and prob
