I'll side with Rawlin and Grant. I had a similar experience with a 66 Chevy truck and a single reservoir m/c, but the outcome wasn't so nice. In a "panic" stop situation, the rear rubber line blew. J

One other option which I used is to use two single master cylinders. I have brakes on all four corners. One ms controls the front brakes and the other does the rear brakes. As of an 'emergency brake'
