Does anyone know were or how I can check a Serial Number for a 700R Trans? I was told it came out of an 89 Camaro but I'm not sure. It has a strange looking counter weight attached to the aft end of

I'm pretty sure the first number you have there is the last digit of the year (9 for 1989). oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
