Can anyone tell me where the residual valve is located in a late 70's/early 80's GM brake system? Some have told me in the master cylinder itself while others have said it's in the distribution box.

Their usually in the outlet ports of the master cylinder. You can check for the presence of the residual pressure valve in the outlet ports really quick by taking a soft object and inserting it into
