- I need a couple of small parts too.. 1) a hood bolt for an '49 AD...one of the bigger ones 2) a brake return spring for the '49, and 3) one Hubcap...I'm told the other three are for a 55-56...bowtie

- Go buy a brake pliers from your FLAPS or ? for probably less than $10 .It will pay for itself the first time you use it. I've had one since I was about 14 years old, it's paid for itself many times

- Thanks guys...I have the brake pliers...as I remember, they were spendy at the time (20 years ago?)and they are little used but like so many good tools, priceless when you need 'em. I was at the NAPA
