- There was an extensive thread on this a while back. The truck you saw was correct, the driver's side door locks only from the inside, then you slide across the seat and get out on the passenger side.

- If I am not mistaken, there used to be a law (at least in Calif.) against exiting a vehicle on the traffic side of the street. Tom Warner 58 short fleetside oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM truck

- The reason I tell my son is that you open the door for the lady (pasenger side) and she unlocks the door for you. oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
