Pat has the right idea, but I have seen where that hasn't worked. If that doesn't work, I have on numerous occasions taken a FLAT BAR or screw driver, the thickness of the head gasket and tapped it

Not to say your dumb here or anything, BUT, you DID do the head bolts under the valve cover and down in some lower spots there, correct? You also have to remove the oil line from some rocker assembli
