Don't overlook the 3/4 ton 73-87s. They have the same crossmember as the 1/2 ton. The spindles and hubs are different but the crossmember is the same. Heck, if you want a 3/4 ton 8 lug unit complete

I got mine here in SoCal for $128.00 hub to hub at Ecology Salvage. This was a half price sale. It is as easy as these guys said, just a couple of simple spacers aand a bracket for the steering box.
