I agree with late 40's Buick...maybe with custom coachwork (for the period) to make it an ambulance, hearse, or funeral flower car? Roof line looks too tall, which makes me think it is a custom body.

Mike, you are close, I think. The hood opening and shape of the fender would indicate Buick, but I thought Buicks always had the portholes. Without portholes, it would be a Cadillac. The front fender
