I used a rear from an 82 Camaro Berlinetta, and it was within 3/4" of the original rear end width. But I went with leaf springs instead of the 4-bar setup. Haven't driven it yet, still work-in-progre

I did measure the reareand and it's about 1/2 inch wider. 4-bar oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
