- Sounds like one of two things, a dead battery (they can show the right voltage as long as there's no load on them) or a short somewhere that the generator can't keep up with. If it's through the amme

- first check my mechanic friends alway ask of me is to check the battery. s.p and voltage. try a new battery , then work from there. next stop is the solinoid?? help me ...been lucky been battery last
