- Part of the reason for having the shock at an angle is to help with body roll in cornering. The other factor to think of is total shock travel. If your shock is straight up and down, it will require

- Thanks Pat. That9s exactly what I was thinking the angle was for. How about replicating the new Ford idea? Mount the shocks outside the frame rails - has anyone done this yet to their old chev? - Rya

- My '54 Chev came with the shocks outside. frame body your if just oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
