- ...was just thinking. If it was starving for fuel (due to lack of pressure), wouldn't it cut out all together? This is a random miss fire, much like an electrical open. I can sometimes smooth it out

- Maybe you have a plug wire intermittently grounding to the chassis?? I had a friend with a souped up Camaro that had similar problems, turned out that he had a weak place in the plug wire insulation
