You need a drag link socket which is a big screwdriver bit for the half inch drive. Should be available at auto parts stores. They come in different sizes, so measure slot length. Bob aDler oletruck

pull out the cotter pin. then back out the end cap "looks like a screw". then it should come right off the steering knuckle. oletrucks is devoted to Chevy and GM trucks built between 1941 and 1959
