Hi Robert, I would have used an HEI if I had firewall clearance, have one in a 40 ford now. Had to modify the firewall to get it in. Had a couple of distributors laying around, used the best of both

I understand why you did not use the HEI you have a V 8 in your Truck I have a 261 6 Banger in my truck that makes most V8 stand up and take notices, its a real thumper. The HEI Works real well with
