- Hi Susan, If it's the stock rearend then it's an enclosed drive-line "torque tube". If you want to go faster and keep the stock rearend housing then you can buy the new ring and pinion gear set with

- Susan, if you have open drive, that means you can see the driveshaft and u-joints and don't have the one-peice unit like is on a 53 truck. It still has a tube about size of driveshafts, just doesn't
