- I coated my 59 GMC sandblasted frame about 1 1/2 years ago, I used one coat but made sure it covered it all and it looks just like it did the day I put it on. Jim V. Jim V. 1958 GMC Suburban Carrier

- A word about POR-15. I coated the stripped down frame on a 79 Jeep CJ-5 with the stuff (1 coat). I put many rough miles on it through the Arizona dessert (off road of course) and it held up very well
