Thanks for your suggestions on having keys made to fit my truck. I unbolted the ignition switch from the dash and dropped it by a local locksmith. He cut two keys to fit it for $16, not a bad deal I

Back in these days, there were laws and/or ordinances prohibiting drivers and passengers from entering vehicles on the driver's side (probably for street safety). Therefore, only locks were installed

No key lock on the drivers side and one on the passenger sides was standard. The general consensus is you are supposed to exit the vehicle from the passenger side as no to exit into the streets. You
