With 3.08 rear gears and 28 inch high tires my GMC 270 would have to turn about 3500 to go 95. In stock form I doubt it will turn that fast. With 4.11 gears and 32 inch tires the motor would have to

Maybe he was going down a R-E-A-L-L-Y long hill. There's one in SE Portland. Mt. Tabor, I think. We used to go down hill there on our bikes. Don't know how fast we went. My speedometer pegged at 50.
