Is there an alternative distributor cap I can use on a 1275 bugeye. The one I use is the type where the spark plug leads are screwed in from the inside of the cap. I would prefer to use push on leads

I don't think you have to change. I've used both side and top entry caps on my early distributor(s). Agree on the genuine Lucas endorsement!

The wires are held in by very tiny screws inside the cap. Since you can not buy the factory service tool to remove those screws, grind down the sides of a small, thin, good quality screw driver (not
