There is a significant difference in one other area-the connecting rods. The rods in an 18V engine weigh about 8 oz. less than those in in an 18G engine. It is a small thing, but it makes a differenc

Could this be because the higher compression engines (8.75:1) in the 18GK (my engine) needed the heavier connecting rods? John 18G's? I for the 18V in it 007... There is a significant difference in
