I forgot two things. The R134 fittings have to be screwed on the old valves. They are designed so that once they are on, they can't be removed. Also, I have to stress that the oils are not compatible

Ok, so far everything people have said is that I will need to draw a vacuum to check for leaks after installation and then flush with a cleaner and charge it with R134a. I have read, via google searc
