Great idea, but the buzzer is polarity dependent and owners of later NEGATIVE earth vehicles should ground the BLACK wire, etc. Trevor Jordan 74 TR6 CF29281U

Trevor is right, but, as a matter of fact, this method won't work at all on a TR6. The TR2 through TR4A all used a three terminal flasher, but from the TR250 on, a two terminal flasher was used. You

The TR6 has Smith's gauges (all 6) and the tach and speedo both have two of these really cool jewel-like lamps on the face towards the bottom. indicator and the tach has yellow (amber?) for oil press

Thanks, this should be a much better configuration than my suggestion of using a bridge rectifier to connect the buzzer across the indicator lamp. It gives the buzzer a direct connection to ground,

What I don't understand is: If the indicator light finds its path to ground through the opposite side light, that means there is a current flow through the opposite side light, why doesn't that light

The current flow through the indicator lamp is too small to light the larger turn signal lamps. If you were to short out the lamp however, it would end up flashing all of the turn signals. -- George
