Apparently all units are not stamped on the outside. Of the six that I have, four are stamped on the outside. The other two are stamped on the outer edge of the gear. All came out of Spridgets but ma

I have never seen one without the numbers stamped on the outside. Apparently some aren't, though. You're right about being stamped on the outer perimeter of the ring gear. I think that they all are
