I'm trying to seal a shower stall, and applied GE Silicone II caulk (from a brand new tube) last night. This morning, it's still sticky. The label claims that it should be non-tacky after 30 minutes.

In my experience the GE Silicone II stuff is very thin and stays soft for a LONG time, might also be somewhat temperature-sensitive. I tend to look for other brands now. John.

Thanks for all the quick replies! I checked the date- and it said "use by: 10/03". My fault for not looking first- but I didn't realize that the stuff was more age sensitive than other glues/sealants
