I think I have a small electrical drain. Had to jump my battery to start after car setting for some time. May have something on, but don't think so. I have the notion that a small drain might be hard

I had the same problem with my car that sits at long lengths sometimes. Someone told me at one point that the long battery leads causes excess drain but I don't know if that is the case. Regardless,

Use/borrow a car ignition set up meter (the ones which have dwell, tacho etc on them). They usually also have an amps scale. Remove one of the battery leads and put the meter in the circuit and read

Turn off your car as usual. Then disconnect a battery terminal and put a multimeter between the terminal on the battery and the end of the disconnected cable. If there is a current, something is on.

The problem might be that your battery(ies) has(have) a shorted cell. This would cause the battery to appear to take a charge but it would loose it pretty fast. If you put the battery under any kind
