There's some Japanese-brand tire that's an exact replacement for the=20 original Michelin (165/SR-14) and cost only $50=2E Valley Wire Wheel here= in=20 L=2EA=2E recommends this tire as a good replac

I think this was covered once before last year. The closest to a "stock" tire for the MGB is a 175/70 R14. The diameter and radius is almost exactly the same size as the original 560/14 bias ply tire

Understood ... sizing is based on a specific rim width ... the tread width is the tread width ... width of the cross section varies with rim width ... how about the diameter? IOW, a 195/65R15 Dunlop
