There are two styles of cylinders. The original cylinder has a copper washer at the end and the replacments have a O ring. If you mix thes up you will have a problem bleeding the system. Also honing

I've also experienced problems getting all the air out of the Hundred m/c area when trying to bleed the system manually. What I've found works perfectly every time is my Gunson's Ezi-bleed kit. This

It has been stated many times that honing an aluminum cylinder will not work. Is your master cylinder aluminum? It should have a sleeve installed then honed. Alan Schultz 67 BJ8
