Overwhelming response was to send servo to Partco for rebuild. I had a spare that I sent and just received it back. Had it powder coated and it looks great. Price was right and Gary was very pleasant

Shouldn't need to drain anything...unless you already disconnected the brake lines from the master cylinder?? You should be able to rock the brake MC fwd enough to get the booster in/out. If you did

Stephen--Since the last thing you did was to "rebuild" the MC, I'd suggest that there is air trapped inside. To isolate the brake servo, simply disconnect the hose at the servo and plug it with a tap
