- Could be glazed rotors. A hit with some abrasive has been known to work if you don't want to have them turned. It is always a good idea to have the rotors turned when you replace pads though. Brian '

- Nissan changed the pad compound and many of the non-asbestos pads for many new cars and not so new cars now screetch on stopping. Oh well. Seems the asbestos acted like a lubricant for the brakes. I
