- I had four CBs, but after wrestling with temporary hookups, antennae, speakers, etc(I didn't want it permanently installed), I finally went to Radio Shack and bouth a hand held CB. Best thing I ever

- The only problem with the hand held is they don't transmit and recieve as good as a CB with a roof antenna. A have an adapter for the mag antenna as well (for my handheld)so that works pretty good. T

- The one I got is a Motorola "Emergency" CB Radio. It is a hand-held brick, but uses power from the cigarette lighter, and has a magnetic roof antenna. I guess it would be better than the totally hand

- I went to Radio Shack and told the clerk I wanted the cheapest CB he had--he went in back and picked out one that was discontinued. I also bought all the hardware for a cig. lighter plug 12v plug in
