When I bought mine they needed restoring. I had them Soda blasted (very mild abrasive), then cleaned them very well to get rid of the residue. I them masked off the outer rims and painted the spokes

Check with a wheel polishing company. I had a set of Libres painted/polished. Still looked good four years later when I sold the car (not a roadster). At least you have the center caps and don't have

Aluminum wheels shine up very nice, I had the lips on my minilite like copies polished and they sparkle like chrome. Painted the eight little spokes black at first but they seemed to disappear again
