They are indeed interchangeable, the frames anyway. There may be some minor differences in the tops though. My son's 65B apparently was converted to the folding top by the previous owner. He also wan

etc. Paul, Yes they are interchangeable. The receptacles you see are also for the tonneau / bikini cover rail. Years ago I started with a '74 (the fabled maroon) which had a folding zipout lid on it

For about a year I used a stowaway top frame in my '71. The only thing that I had to do was get shorter screws to mount the sockets behind the doors after removing the folding top. You will also need
